I took this photo at the UC Davis Botanical Conservatory during a fun “photo field trip” with 3 friends from work. Every so often, I mentioned to them how beautiful the Conservatory is and what great photo ops are available there, especially since there were always new or newly flowering plants and often the plant arrangements changed, with new plants added, older ones gone, or plants were rearranged according to research needs.
For me, even after over 10 years of going to take photos and to take in the lushness, the UC Davis Botanical Conservatory is still a place for inspiration and serene introspection.
