Golden Light Golden Gate

Since I moved to the West Coast over 20 years ago, I have not owned a car, since in both San Francisco and Davis, there is no daily need for one. When I do need a car, I just rent one, or sometimes I take the train.

Anyway, when I drive down to SF, I usually drive across the Golden Gate Bridge just to take in the beauty of it, its human-made marvelousness and the grandeur of its surroundings.

Another thing I do, a ritual of sorts, to take in the GG Bridge and the natural beauty around it: I drive to the Legion of Honor Museum, which is a gorgeous structure that houses great art and has a parking lot with a must see view of The City. I stop, get out of the car, and walk over to the wall that wraps the parking lot, taking in the stunning eastern view of SF. and is drive on
