Shimmering Walt Disney Concert Hall, LA
While I was in LA March of 2018, when I captured this photo, I took more time to walk around the this architectural masterpiece than during my first sighting of the Frank Gehry designed Walt Disney Concert Hall back in 2014. In the back, I saw this detail of the swooping metallic roof. While processing the photo, I fell in love with the shininess and contrast, so I bumped them up in a way that emphasizes the surprisingly transformative fluidity of the hard, curvaceous yet angular tiles.
Yes, I love this place.
